Nokia release gadgets locator sensor at CES 2009

Nokia at the CES 2009 released a sensor to keep tag and track of gadgets and accessories. How this sensor works is you attch it onto the gadget of your choice, once it gets loose the sensor alerts you of the missing gadget. It has to be in a range of 100 metres to locate the missing gadget. How or what technology was used by the sensor to identify/tag the gadgets is still unmentioned but our guess is either Blutooth or Wi-Fi but definetly it is not the GPS technology.

The sensor locator can be function for over a year before it can be recharged. Items to tag and track can go up to 100 items. All these sensor works with an integrated software installed in the phones. The sensor was being unveiled in CES 2009 as a prototype version.
